"Very good and authentic Mexican restaurant located in downtown Elkhorn! The atmosphere is good with a bunch of Mexican themed decorations, Mexican music playing and a good number of TVs showing sports. The entrance is a little weird as you enter through the patio but that was very nice as the weather was perfect to sit outside. Maximos is definitely on the expensive side when it comes to Mexican food, but it's well worth it as all dishes are prepared fresh with fresh and high quality ingredients. Service was basic but good. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back."

"One of our new favorite places due to the fact we just discovered it. The food is always full of flavor and delicious. Margaritas are some of the best we’ve had. We love going for a later bite with their reverse happy hour beginning at 8 pm. Staff is friendly and welcoming and provides a fun environment in addition to the cute patio and decor."

"This is a delicious Mexican restaurant. The food is fresh and unique. I ordered chicken enchiladas and had the choice of red, green or cheese sauce and also choice of corn or flour tortillas. I opted for green and cheese sauces and it was very good. The green is a bit spicy and plays well off the creamy cheese sauce. The chicken was all white meat. We sat on the patio and enjoyed all the flowers and plants. We will be going back!"

"We had a very rude waitress. I asked several times for a refill, but she ignored me. The lady who brought us our lunch was very nice! The food is pricey, however absolutely delicious!!"
