"Wow, too bad the ER entrance is not as easy to access. Been trying to contact multiple parties about the horrid care my child recieved in the ER, but no call back. Things to know when going to childrens hospital. 3. Care basics ignored. Resident wore enough Cologne to cause asthma and allergy attacks in sick kids in the ED. It lingered for 40 min. In the room. That information about perfume and colonge is in everyone's orientation. Also get that resident scrub pants that fit him, a pediatric ER is not the place to wear "skinny" scrubs to show off your "assets". Between the "skinny scrubs" and overbearing colonge it felt like he was looking for dates. Gross.4. Maintain your equipment. Blood pressure machines should actually work and give accurate readings, Especially in the ED. This is a care fail on so many levels. They tried to take my child's BP 4x, machine errored out 3x , gave unrealistic reading for the only reading they did get.FYI- try changing the cuff it may be defective and check All connections.If that doesn't work, call to get it serviced."
