"This hospital is the worst my daughter had too stay in nic u for almost 3 months. I believe these people in the Nic u mistreated my daughter and gave her long term side affects from the mistreatment and neglect towards my daughter. It’s really sad that you can’t trust these hospitals now days. Or just simply can’t trust the evil people that work at those hospitals…"

"My Mom passed away in this hospital. She had a surgery for fractured ribs and she end up of with multi systems failure (respiratory, kidney and pancreatic failures. The physicians were against kidney dialysis, however, the whole family insisted that my Mom should receive dialysis because the techs didn’t know how to run the machine and spent almost 3 hours until they figured it out. My Mom responded very well to the dialysis, however, she died of respiratory failure. Non of the physicians gave me a real reason why my Mom end up with respiratory failure? Also I believe my Mom was already dead when I came in on March 6th, however, she was on a ventilator and medically paralyzed!? Which again does not make any sense to me to have her medically paralyzed. Whoever took the decision to paralyze my Mom, didn’t consult with us first if this is something we want to proceed with. I asked the physicians several times to terminate the medical paralysis, so she can recognize her family members and we can say goodbye to her. My suggestion is that you need to re-review what is called medical paralysis and have qualified physicians, techs and nurses to handle elderly people. Most staffs lack training, education and experience which caused extreme harm to the patient. Also there are a lot of anger nurses who are extremely unhappy of what they are doing. If you are not happy with your job please don’t continue harming others and risk their lives"

"I had a surgical procedure here and they're not only good, they are outstanding. The staff and nurses provided the best care and compassion I've ever encountered. They are highly organized and calming. The operation prep team made me feel at ease and listened to my concerns. The operation team, what I remember, was upbeat and confident. The recovery and discharge nurses spent a good amount of time with me ensuring my comfort. I live in sioux city but will absolutely use this surgical center if I ever need a medical procedure. They are happy, caring, and made me at ease in a scary situation. Thank you"

"I’m not part of CHI for my medical history but my boyfriends stepdad had a heart attack and was brought over to Bergen and we came up to visit and we have had nothing but a bad experience; this is the worst. The nurses and staff have been rude, unresponsive, and not helpful. They haven’t had any bedside manner towards us as family that it’s so hurtful. They keep telling us “15 more min and they will come get you” well over an hour has passed and the staff keeps walking away from us and not keeping us updated on anything. This is why I keep all my stuff with Methodist and will never come to CHI. I have Heard to many horror stories and now I’m living it."

"The facility is top notch. I go here to see a specialist from time to time. Parking is very easy and there’s always plenty of room. The offices are clean, modernized, and up to date. The staff is very helpful and kind. The front desk team is fast and they always have multiple people working. Once your inside the exam room the nursing team does there thing with a kind heart. They are very sensitive to my situation and they make me feel real comfortable. I’ve never had to wait long for the doctor to see me. She has the best bed side manor and is always very clear and explains everything in a simple yet thorough way. Overall, I don’t mind coming back here. Everything about the facility keeps me a loyal customer. Thank You."
