"The lowest point in North America. 280 feet below sea level due to intense tectonic plate activity over a relatively short period of geologic time, and very little erosion due low rainfall. The Artists Drive along the road to Badwater basin, and the drive after the low point are more of a highlight in my opinion."

"Visited Saturday Feb 17. Lake still full, probably 6-7 inches deep at most. Could easily take a paddle board out on it. Spectacular views"

"Death Valley is a National Park, please allow time to stop by the Ranger Station and pick up the parking pass. Love hiking at Badwater basin. Right now is a great time to go because there is water in the lake. Sun rise and sunsets are extra special."

"Visited lowest point on the earth and we are literally below the seal level and there is a board showing the sea level and you can see in my picture as well. A beautiful sunset spot. It’s just gorgeous location to breathe in the different views and experience another planet like landscape. Must visit location in Death Valley National park."
