"Terrible experience. My 2 year old was terrified and the tech had no bedside manner with kids. Was not gentle or comforting, didn't even try and talk to her to help keep her calm. Then we were told we couldn't see our own xray because it would violate hipaa... a lie."
"Took my daughter to urgent care at this facility after we’d received poor service at another facility. We had a terrific experience at Iowa Radiology Lakeview. The Dr and X-ray tech made her feel comfortable and at ease. Which made me comfortable and at ease. If we ever have a need again for this service we will definitely use Iowa Radiology lakeview."
"The worst experience I ever had. Please be aware before anyone plan to visit Iowa Diagnostic Imaging and procedure Center at 4200 University Suite 104, West des Moines, Iowa. They make you sign bunch of papers without giving proper information about it. I had gone there for preventing/regular Mammogram checkup and they made it under diagnosis to make money on it. Highly disappointed and with no proper patient care. My insurance is ready to pay if you correct the service as requested to preventive care. Unnecessary putting the code of Diagnosis resulting me paying the amount. Highly disappointed and unprofessional. Continuing the thread as I can't respond to the response. This hasn't got anything to do with my insurance. It started from the Doctor's office and billing department who entered the incorrect code. I had visited the office for my regular check up and was asked to fill up the form for diagnostic. I was never informed that this is different or else I would have checked with my insurance before accepting. How are we expected to know all these medical code or jargon. It's a fraud and would expect you guys to fix it and send the correct code to insurance"
"I had a CT scan 2 weeks ago and was very impressed with them. It was busy, but they seemed to handle it seamlessly. The technician who performed the CT scan was VERY professional, friendly and very willing to answer my questions. I have veins that at occasionally are hard to penetrate the first time and I told her that. She got the job done without a hitch. It was a good experience and I would be happy to go back or recommend them to a friend."
"I had my mammogram in July. It was the month my insurance renews and they changed my account number. The charge was filed according to the old number. My claim was denied and I was billed. I called. They said they would refile. A month later I am billed again and it is said that I am late on my bill. I called again. They said they didn't have a record of my first call. I called the insurance company. No one had refiled. Several calls later, it was determined all was well. A month goes by. Now I am sent to a collection agency. I am enraged. I call again. They say they fixed it. They say they took it off the collection. A month goes by. Here I am again. The collection agency is still after me even though my bill has been paid. Really and truly, don't go to Iowa Radiology. It is a financial nightmare and it shouldn't be. Mammograms are covered completely by my insurance but I am still being hassled for payment, not to mention what this may be doing to my credit score."
