"all 3 of my children have attended or currently attend educare of omaha the double standards of educare are astonishing they claim to be a place that prides themselves in helping children with learning disabilities i have found that not to be the case. my oldest son would consistently get excluded tuesdays usually late in the afternoon knowing i have wednesdays off then later in his journey with educare he was put on a behavioral plan due to his diagnosis of adhd we worked very hard with educare and the staff to help him until it got to the point they recommended he attends a special behavior school for help named daybreak we were told gabriel would have his spot saved for him to return after this program he was the quickly dropped from the program. If you have a history of working with the staff they will abuse that fact and will exclude your children for various reasons for example this past week my middle son was sick multiple days we kept him home and he returned when he was no longer symptomatic we received an email from the school nurse letting us know he wasn’t acting normal and refusing food no further action was taken. friday of the same week our youngest child became sick and we kept her home until today when she is no longer symptomatic and they called excluding her for not participating and being tired not wanting to drink etc. the same thing that they didn’t exclude our other child for days earlier when we picked her up she is acting normal and proceeded to drink water. i am frustrated they have shown a clear history of excluding my children and not other children who are obviously symptomatic due purely to the fact we have a history of working with them rather than pushing back like other parents may. The rules seem to apply unfairly and are inconsistent depending on the day or staff member."
"The person who helped me was very kind. God bless him and keep him safe."
