"i didnt have a choice but to come here, the people at the front desk were nice although not actively at the check in, had to wait for 5-10 minutes before someone came to check me in after getting inside. they were nice enough to give me a smoking room upon request although i had to go back in and ask for an ashtray. the beds are the most firm beds ive ever slept on and ive slept on a boulder before. i didnt dare to use their sheetes from the burnt holes and cockroaches and other bugs that i saw inside the room. one of the lights over the bed didnt work, the desk chairs were broken and there was no bedside table for either bed to put my phone/glasses on. no fridge, no microwave, no coffee machine in rooms, there was a tv but i didnt bother turning it on. from the old locks on the door i can say this place has been here for a historically long time but has been left to rot by the current owners. this place is in desperate need of repair if at least a major maintenence overhall. whoever painted the walls/windows/trim was less skilled than a weekend hobbyist and where the walls have been 'repaired' was not done correctly, unpainted sections, overpainted sections, paint over groups of wall anchors, missing trim pieces and blatant sections of wall that have obviously been cut out, screwed back in and filled the gaps with paint. the mattresses and box springs are heavily stained with how many years of who-knows-what. Bottom line, If you come here, expect to wash your things at least twice once you get back home"

"People live here, there's trash everywhere on the outside. The bed and sheets were a absolute joke. Cheap everything. There were also bugs in my room. Honest I didn't even shower here I was scared to. In a pinch hey it'll get you off the street but I would not recommend. Go somewhere else!"

"Don't pay for a 1 star hotel and expect high class. I've been all around the world and never had as much fun as I had here. 5 stars for the good times, and for the owner who is exceptionally polite."

"The room was absolutely filthy the bathtub still had soap in it from the last person which was interesting because other reviewers have said the same thing I let the owner know he said he would let the housekeeper know however the housekeeper never came to clean my room at all I will say the owner is very very nice the location is extremely convenient restaurants and shopping and if you wanted to go to the casino Update: I checked in on Friday the owner finally escorted the housekeeper to clean the room at 4:30 in the afternoon on Sunday evening this is after I complained multiple times a day everyday the housekeeper did not return on Monday. I am staying here for work I did not choose my accommodations, all the other hotels in town are full. If you need a reasonable place to stay at a decent price in the area my first choice would be the Days Inn in North Sioux City, my second choice would be the cottonwood Inn in South Sioux City. I usually stay at one of those"

"There was no dresser or desk. No phone and no cable tv. The light over the table didn't work because it was missing the bulb. There were only 2 very small pillows on the bed. There were holes in the walls. And graffiti on the walls done in marker. We also saw a few cockroach's. Even though I showed up in the middle of the night, the customer service was really good and the price was fair. Given that we had all the normal and amenities."
