"The service here is fantastic! The vibe inside is inviting (slightly outdated but still elegant.) The artisan cheese plate was fine, just a little bland. I think some compound butter options would've helped. Everything else was top tier! Cibo Vino is classy enough for a romantic dinner or celebration but still fitting for a casual get together."
"This is a really cozy and upscale place to dine. The food was excellent (Fennel Citrus Salmon, Neapolitan Calamari, Pappardelle Bolognese, and my favorite Porcini Beef Tip Penne). The server was a little odd when we asked if the salmon could be medium rare he said probably not but he could inquire with the chef. Duh, inquire! The drinks (Volgarre, Italian Margarita and Smiley's Old Fashioned) were spot on and the desserts (Tiramisu, Cannoli and Hazelnut Panna Cotta) were exquisite!"
"I had the pleasure of visiting Cibo Vino on Thanksgiving Eve, because who doesn't want to fill their bellies the day before they REALLY fill them up Our server was very prompt, and attentive to our needs. She was top-notch and we had no complaints whatsoever. Whoever was in the kitchen working that night was ON TOP OF IT! Our food hit the table very quickly with no delays at all, and the progression of the meal from apps to pasta apps to entrees was timed perfectly. We were in a bit of a hurry to get to another event - so it was perfect that we weren't stuck waiting around between dishes, and never once did we feel rushed. The menu has a nice balance of authentic Italian-fare, with a few American -inspired dishes mixed in for those picky, hard to satisfy family members. Fret not - if your great-aunt Linda insists on only eating Spaghetti and Meatballs at Italian restaurants - they've got you covered! The Bolognese was hearty and delicious - and the bucatini amatriciana had the perfect amount of spice to make the guanciale really shine. I will say though - the absolute highlight of this meal for me was the Peach Belini. I'm not real sure what they put in this drink that a normal Belini doesn't have - but this completely blew all other Belinis out of the water. Next time I visit, I'll probably order 3 or 4."
"This is the best non-vegan vegan Italian restaurant. Sooo accommodating, from host, to server, to chef, to bartender. The server picked the best dressing option and it was vegan. They made us our own dish of veggies and olive oil and spaghetti pasta. They confirmed the bread was vegan, yummy focaccia. I had an after dinner drink and they left out the cream, chocolate and cherry. Really good. The best part was Gilly, she was patient, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to be sure we got a wonderful meal within our dietary needs."
"The food is fantastic! All homemade pasta with authentic sauces. Sitting on the patio at the edge of the charming old downtown with a glass of wine from Orvieto where we spent our last summer was just perfect! Northern bean and Hazelnut hummus is a must try. The char-grilled octopus is even for those who don’t like seafood. Entrées we’re all very flavorful and of high quality. Definitely coming back!"
