"I visited this park in the fall. The leaves on the trees had started to turn. It's a beautiful drive through the park. My daughter's elementary school class went fishing and had a great time. This dock is very accommodating to younger kids provided you keep an eye on them. There are ample park signs that make it clear how to find the area you want. Not a given for some parks. There are excellent examples that feature small scale replicas of bridges found in Iowa. Really an interesting feature. The park also has a robust education program put on by Johnson County. This park is a gem"
