Reviews
"We went there in February and yet to get green. It was a wonderful day with decent temperatures and lots of people were enjoying park time."
"Beautiful park for a walk or bike ride. The area is mostly prairie with some woods and with a large pond at one end. It is quite close to 80 so you do get vehicle noise, so maybe not the best if you are seeking solitude. The path is fully paved, so this is great for accessibility. There is a parking lot. Plenty of parking when I went but I have seen it pretty full before. You’ll see others on the walkways here as well."
"An urban Oasis. Nice trails for hiking and biking. For biking purposes it connects the Dubuque Street Trail with the Peninsula neighborhood and the Clear Creek Trail beyond. There is a picnic shelter with a great view on top of the hill. The park has no potable water and only a chemical toilet, located adjacent to the parking area."
"What a beautiful park! Paved trails wind around slightly rolling hills. Went there to see sunset and discovered the perfect lake for reflections. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to location to watch the sunset without any buildings or powerlines obstructing your views. Looking forward to returning and taking my bike. Looks like there is much to see and explore at this location. Port-o-potties located in the parking lot."
"A lovely momma deer gracefully walked through the wildflowers as I took a morning walk. Could benefit from running water... Facility was clean."
