"We stopped in for the first time with our two Yorkie’s, Magnolia Mae and Elroy j. Boy did they ever like walking around the aisles smelling all those good things. Then they met Duncan and you would have thought he was a long lost relative. The were in heaven with their.new best bud. Then we met Ayla, who was Duncan’s owner but she also worked there. She showed us around, told us what Duncan really liked. I liked her because she came across honest and sincere. All sales associates could learn from her. Thanks again, Michael Irwin"
"The girls working the day we stopped in were fantastic. We had just adopted a dog, and they loaded us up with food and treats. The store is filled to the brim with high quality products for pets."
"Be warned- despite being a good customer - I purchased a stuffed toy for a 2 lb puppy. He played with it for less than 5 minutes and I noticed it was ripped at the seam- most likely was present before because he isn’t capable of doing that damage. They would not accept a return- even for store credit. No longer a customer there. Don’t sell high priced cheap toys and not support the sale."
"I have quite the grooming frustration with LDFC - I was looking for something more personal and liked the aspect but they don’t kennel so we tried grooming here. When asked what we wanted for grooming I replied ‘her (my dog) head, feet and bottom tender to grow a lot faster so maybe trim those down and the rest just a nice cut’ The groomer had asked if this would be her summer cut I said ‘yes I suppose so’ and that was the gist of it. My dog gets groomed regularly, gets combed at home there’s no mattes, maybe a tiny knot at the elbow because she slides but she was combed out the night before so I highly doubt it. When I came to pick her up she was shaved to the skin, I can see the razor/trimmer lines on the back and patches where it looks like hair is missing. It doesn’t look like her head or her face were even cut, I can tell a tad around her eyes but she looks absurd with a huge fluffy head connected to a shaved down 90lbs body. Especially since I had clarified that I wanted the head to be cut . Paying $150 I didn’t expect to be embarrassed walking my dog out and now have to pay an additional $50 and take her to another groomer to have her head shaped so her hair grows even. I added a picture of what my pup looked like before and what she looked like after. Very disappointed and frustrated."
"Got my dogs groomed here for the first time, and they did a great job! Low-stress environment, and they handled my crazy half-mini-Aussie so well. I included before and after photos. (Full disclosure, I work on the retail side)"
