"If I can leave zero stars I totally would. I had to bank reach out to me a couple of times about inactivity with my account which it wasn't active. They also sent me a notice that there was 13 and some odd dollars between the two accounts. When I went into to go close it they charged me for the inactivity essentially wasting my time for me to drive out there over 13 bucks. Not a big deal but at that point it was just kind of principal. This is exactly why I quit banking quit banking with big banks they're there essentially just to make money off of hidden fees and ways that they can take from the little guy. This is exactly why I closed my account with them and went with a different bank. I'm glad I did so cuz obviously they're up to the same stuff that they've always been up Not to mention the lawsuit that they had filed against them while I was banking due to the fact that they were overcharging people on overdraft fees save yourself the time. Go to a smaller institute. This place is a joke!!!"

"I adore the staff at this location. I come every two weeks to deposit my check and I'm always met with friendly faces and helpful attitudes. I see lots of people leaving bad reviews, but I've personally never had a bad experience with this banking chain. I've been banking with Veridian since I was 11 years old and I don't think I've ever had a problem with them."

"Unbelievable that it even has to come to this but if I can save one person the headache I've been through with this bank this week, that will be worth it. My account was compromised and someone fraudulently used my debit card in New York City last week. I live in Iowa. So while I was working, my entire checking account as well as a portion of my savings was totally wiped out. I had $0.00 going into the weekend, which by the way was my child's birthday weekend. The customer service representative at the time I called to file my dispute assured me that I would get a refund within 48hours and to call back if I hadn't. I didn't, so I went to the bank in person. They tell me one charge is still pending for the dispute and it cannot move forward until that charge is no longer pending. At that point it had been 5 days without money. So I leave, they say to call back so I did call back. Not once was my call taken in an efficient manner. I explain the situation, the rude customer service girl says she's sending me to me to disputes. But she did it wrong so actually I wind up at Frauds. Frauds connects me to Disputes. When I tell you this Dispute agent came at me SO disrespectfully, words cannot accurately describe. Her snobby attitude was horrible right off the bat and she was treating me as if I was the criminal. I ask for her supervisor "they're not in today" oh isn't that convenient? So I ask for her supervisor's supervisor then. I am then put on hold for 10 minutes to be told I will get a call back. Hours pass. No call. I call back, they tell me that Supervisor left too. Mind you this is 2pm on a Friday. Why are all their supervisors leaving early? Now at this point I've been on the phone and in person for many hours of my life trying to resolve this. It's been 8 days. I haven't gotten a single penny back, and I am furious. As soon as this is resolved, I will be moving to a different bank. I am disgusted at how I've been treated and I am submitting complaints to the FDIC as well now. Absolutely outrageous lack of decency and respect for a client who banked loyalty with you for 15 years and trusted you with their life savings. Run, don't walk, away from this bank. They don't care about you."

"I have had a few issues with them with over drafting. I had a transaction pending since the amount requested was not set in stone until the rental of a uhaul would be finalized after I return the truck. Because of this I was careful on my gas transactions and what I needed. Well they decided to pull out the gas along with another transaction even though the available balance was still in the positive. They said well b/c your Uhaul transaction was taken out first but it was still in a pending status therefore it hasnt been taken out yet. this caused two over draft transactions. later Uhaul took out the funds and imagine that it was LESS than what was pending which would have never put me in the negative if they wouldnt have jumped the gun. They have been crooks when it comes to over drafting. They say its REAL TIME but it really isnt if there is a pending status. Again this is not the first time i have had this issue with them. Thankfully they reversed it only because I called to complain. But if you are the type who doesnt complain then they would take advantage of you real fast. I feel like this is an issue that should be a part of a lawsuit Kind of like the one US Bank was pulling with their customer."
