"We drove from Cedar Rapids to get to JT Slapshot Hockey Shop (about 2 hours) and I am so glad we did! Huge selection of awesome gear, lots of variety, and the staff was the icing on the cake. As a mom new to hockey, I was a little over my head, but a sales associate came right over and helped us. Scanned my son's foot size (cool machine) and then got us some skates to try on. Then we went and got a helmet which he grabbed the correct size for us right away and checked to make sure it fit. Showed us how to adjust the straps. The whole process was so smooth, I went ahead and got gloves, a hockey stick, a street ball, and wrapping tape. He helped us with all of it and explained a lot of things, in a matter of 15 minutes. They even cut our hockey stick down and wrapped it for us for our first time. It's a far drive for us, but I will go back there to get the rest of our hockey needs from now on. Great service!"
