"Both of my children started trap recently and my first bad experience at this place was with a guy named Dan. My daughter's coach who has been working with her told me what gun to get and what modifications to put on that gun, but Dan who only met my daughter for 5 minutes in a store knew better than her coaches. Dan would not let us get any of the modifications that the coaches wanted because he knew better even though he had never seen my daughter shoot. My second bad experience with this store is that I was told when I purchased both of my trap guns from them, "When you are ready to trade up, you can bring them back and get close to what you paid for them." So, a couple months ago I bought a Citori CXT, decide that the gun isn't a good fit and decide to trade it in for a different style. They offered me just over 60% ($1,400) of what I just paid them for it 2 months ago ($2,200). Gun is still in perfect condition with all accessories that came with it. I laughed and just left. I was going to purchase a $2,500 gun from them if they had offered me at least $2,000. I have also been buying $550-$650 worth of ammo every month from them since my kids started trap as well. Even after our first experience with Dan, I thought I would give them a chance. However, they don't care how often you are there or how much money you spend, they will still low ball you and talk down to you. Trap has been declining a lot recently as far as participation, so you would think that a store like this would try to keep all of the customers that they have, however, I know that I will not be returning at all anymore. Instead of relying on their "expert" advice I will simply do my own research from now on and go to Cabela's or Bass Pro for my guns and ammo."
