"Great staff and easy to work with! Great products and online ordering is super convenient"
"First and for most. I told them on the 15 th. They show up at my house knowing I was not home and they could not fit the couch in my house. They left the couch on my porch. Were I can not use my entrance I work from home and I lost out on money tonight. With a client. And I told them just to take it back to the store. They forced my to sign the paper work He is not on the paper work. To sign and not capable making proper decisions He is a minor They told he had to sign the paper work after I told James and them to take it back to the store. It needs to be moved before 2 pm tomorrow. It’s a fire hazard. To block a door. When you are a respite provider. Now fix the issue. And pick it up once and for all . I never had poor services before. But this is really switch the switches. To day I told James. To pick the dang couch back if it doesn’t fit than doesn’t mean to leave it on my porch. Get with it you all. I am not pay for this couch. ……"
"Likes to take payments when not authorized and sells you’ve used furniture and tell you that it’s new and try to make you pay early payments weeks before your payments due"
"When they were associated with Aaron's they were amazing but now that they are their own company they suck. Last to items I leased from them they let me believe were brand new but they were actually previous leases. Sending a washer and dryer back after the dryer never worked. They delivered items and when dryer didn't work they made me call an electrician before they would even do anything with it. That is when I found out they were used when the delivery guy told me. They gave me a loaner dryer that was full of dirt and should have been thrown away. Do not waste you time or money. Washer and dryer was the second time they gave me used stuff. Got a desk top from them and again was led to think it was new but when I unpacked it the cords had been chewed on by a dog. Never again will I deal with them and you shouldn't either in my opinion."
"The absolute worst, humiliating, horrible experience I ever had with any store or finance company in decades of dealing with such! The store in Des Moines actually contacted personal references and asked them if I had the ability to pay for such an agreement as well as where I lived. I gave the store my landlord and employment references which should have sufficed 100%. As well I gave them an up date ADP Payroll statement from the previous week with current substantial weekly gross payroll, etc. Current and valid commercial drivers license with the same address. The store actually divulged to family members I was attempting to rent furniture. Same to long term friends of which, I received immediate phone calls trying to loan me funds because they assumed I was in financial hardship status. I called and questioned the store as to why they did this. Their response was very defensive, dominating and unapologetic. They attempted to overtalk me and never once tried to straighten anything out. I went to the store and once again questioned their horrible and humiliating business practices. Same response. I demanded my agreement be cancelled and the return of my hard copy drivers license, ADP Payroll statement and signed application and documents. They refused and said all documents were sent off property. We cancelled the agreement and of course I lost over half a day pay from my employment because I had to come off the schedule to be at the house to accept the delivery of furniture. So I lost about $190.00 plus the gas money back and forth to the store. When I was at the store inquiring about the reference events with their personnel, one of their employees was eating chips, leaning against the wall behind the counter and outlandishly snickering and shrugging his shoulders blatantly. Seriously what a complete joke! I can only assume they have zero value of their customers who 100% support their store and choose to do business with them? Hard to fathom in today’s economy, seriously! I called another Aaron’s store in eastern Iowa and inquired about the practice of them engaging in with divulging to personal friends and family members regarding renting furniture and asking them if you have the ability to pay for such and about where you live. That employee told me they are not supposed to do anything of the nature. She gave me a phone number for the regional manager named Justin, but he never called me after I left him two voice messages. Please think about doing business with Aaron’s. There are terrific rental stores out there that have respect and value their customers. Aarons does not."
