"5 stars for the friendly helpful staff that went out of their way to make us feel welcome & relaxed. I'm afraid we arrived as crabby campers & they put us right in no time. Fantastic looking mini golf course right on the shore! Regretfully, we didn't get time to play it. Must do next time! One less star only because the lots are rather tight but the hook ups were accessible & functioned great. The lake is great and apparently a popular area! Love that they have a shed of life jackets to loan the kids and dog duty supply /disposal stations. Nice little walking path around one curve of the lake, until the residential area where it cuts off. Would be cool if it went all the way around the lake. Plenty yard lights but not so much it obliterates the view of the skies. We enjoyed watching the meteor shower from our site. Checked out feeling happily exhausted from all our fun."

"We stayed here a couple of times back in 2021. Once over Labor Day weekend & then later at the beginning of October. Of course, when we stayed over Labor Day, it was busy & packed. We were lucky enough to get a spot, but it wasn't the best spot. It was on the very end with not a lot of room. Our next spot we got in October was on a cement pad with plenty of space. Overall, it's a very nice campground and it's our number one choice when visiting family in the area."

"This place is great. Grass sites are the best, near beach, playground, volleyball, and mini golf. City park very close and very big with splash pad, basketball, and large playground with hamster wheel! Nice beach with actual sand, not rocks!"
