"Such a beautiful off the beaten path place to relax and enjoy nature. Truly a little gem that you will miss if you are not attentive to your surroundings. Last time I came here it was after a big snow melt and the road was pure mud....so plan accordingly your vehicle choice....it is just a levy to walk on surrounded by farm fields & a tree line. There is also a dam on the river that is quite peaceful to sit by and hear the water rushing. One thing to mention: PLEASE, PLEASE TAKE ANY TRASH OUT WITH YOU! Every time I come here I bring a garbage bag and it is so disheartening to see how disrespectful people can be to nature. Places like this are so few and far between anymore, let's appreciate what we have left!"
