"Ginger was my hair stylist and delivered what I wanted. I asked for a hair cut and all around color. She was great and understood how to cut Asian hair to give it natural texture. Ginger was very sweet and I enjoyed the company of their dog. The pricing for a cut and color was affordable and I'm very satisfied with the final result!"

"Absolutely phenomenal experience. I received a consultation from Mr. Chu, and he was honest about what could be done with my hair. He didn’t and wouldn’t attempt to do anything that wasn’t possible. I set-up an appointment to get a perm, where I had a reference photo ready. The appointment started exactly when I set it up for, which was fantastic. During the entire process, Mr. Chu explained everything that he was doing. The result was fantastic and the service was even better! I will most definitely switch to getting my hair done here!"

"Ginger and Mr. Chu are both great people, but unfortunately the styles they know how to cut are a bit outdated. I wanted long bang pieces in the front but they were unsure how to go about doing so, so I ended up with shorter pieces in the front than I would've liked. There's a lot of potential in this salon, but they would either need to hire a stylist who know more trendy haircuts/techniques or learn it themselves."

"I had my hair done by Mrs Chu! I asked her to "do" my roots. She in turn did highlights but didn't touch my roots as I realized after washing my hair a few days later. My roots are extremely noticeable and I paid Mrs Chu $ 92.00 dollars to do my roots and highlights. I also stated that I wanted an "inverted V" or as they call it today a "bob" and make sure the back was shorter. She may have cut a half inch all the way around. When I looked on the floor there was not a lot of hair so essentially she did a trim not a haircut! When I went back today to have her do my roots she just repeated at least three to four times that "I did highlights", not that she would touch up my roots but "I did highlights". She was not willing to do anything. As my sister said " I think you got took!" I had a wonderful hairdresser before moving here that did a fantastic job. Along with color (highlights and roots) she conditioned my hair and styled it. She always made sure that I was happy with my hair. I got so many complements every single time I got my hair done by her. The price was wonderful. Color, haircut and style would cost me 78.00 dollars. Mrs Chu did what she wanted to do and when I went back to have her do what I wanted her to do initially she refused. So learn from my mistakes and do not have your hair done here if you want it your way or should I say the right way. My sister use to go to Chu's .....she no longer goes there."

"As a relatively new immigrant to this country my wife has been trying to find somebody who can properly cut her hair, and after a couple of failed attempts from some other hairdressers in town, she finally sought out an Asian hairdresser, and she couldn't be happier. Chu Hairstyling And Salon is a fine establishment ran by two of the nicest people you will ever meet. They do an exceptional job at cutting hair, and their prices are very reasonable. They just gained a new loyal customer in us."
