"It’s honestly my fault for wanting a quality haircut from a competent barber. He won’t listen to you and then when you find a middle ground he just straight up will do something different and when you say something he’ll act like you’re wasting his time. GO TO GREAT CLIPS INSTEAD IM SERIOUS!!"
"The barber was a very nice and after the cut he looked happy from his work so when you go tell him good job on the cut must try defiantly going back"
"The results of the haircut were great however, it seemed like Glenn expected me to be an expert in hair when I asked him to take an inch off he looked at me like I was crazy. I even took notes so I knew what to tell him the second time I got a haircut expect he was still unenthusiastic and was very uncooperative."
"If you want to get a haircut from a barber that wants to work with you and help figure out what's best then do NOT go to Glenn. His passive-aggressive tone and minimal interaction set an awful atmosphere when getting the haircut. Not everyone is an expert in hairstyles and techniques, and he will press you until you make a decision that you may not understand or be confident in. He is the type of barber that is clearly trying to get clients in and out of the store as quick as possible rather than providing the best service possible. Would not recommend this place, but I can't speak on the other barbers that work here."
"I recently had the unfortunate experience of scheduling a kid's haircut with Glenn. The lack of basic customer service and his visibly sour demeanor set the tone for an overall dreadful encounter. Upon entering the shop, I was met with a complete absence of any form of greeting or acknowledgment. It was as if my presence was an inconvenience rather than an opportunity for business. His lack of a simple greeting created an unwelcoming atmosphere that left me questioning my decision to even step foot in this barbershop. I even asked him if everything was alright, as his visibly upset demeanor was impossible to ignore. It was evident that he lacked the capacity to acknowledge the impact of his demeanor on customers. His response served as yet another testament to the poor quality of customer service during this entire encounter. I can only assume that he was either having a bad day or simply didn't care for doing kids' haircuts. If the latter is true, then the establishment shouldn't provide the option to schedule this type of service. Nothing of my request was unreasonable for him to display such a demeanor. I initially came in wanting a fade for my kid, but he said he couldn't do those because they moved too much. That was fine, I had absolutely no issue with that and understood it could be difficult to do. I never made it an issue and was glad to find an alternative. However, when I tried to explain the type of alternative haircut I wanted, he responded with disinterest. I told him I wasn't too knowledgeable about how specific lengths looked and so I got on my phone to find something to show him. The silence that followed my explanation was uncomfortably prolonged. It was as though he had no interest in participating in a two-way conversation or using his expertise to guide me toward a suitable style. At that moment, I realized that his approach to customer interaction was alarmingly passive, void of any initiative to assist or advise. Overall, my experience with Glenn was a complete letdown. The lack of basic customer service courtesy, combined with his disinterested and unhappy demeanor, created an uncomfortable and disappointing experience. Factor in the lackluster haircut, and it becomes abundantly clear Glenn falls far short of the standard one should expect from a professional barber. I strongly advise anyone seeking a quality haircut and a positive customer service experience to steer clear of scheduling a haircut with Glenn. I won't go as far as saying that the establishment is bad, because I've had haircuts here in the past and had a wonderful experience with Dominic & Tremaine when they were on staff, as well as great experiences at Dundee Barber. Unfortunately, Glenn does not measure up to the standards upheld by the barbers who have previously worked here."
