"My family has been going to Karen for years and are always happy with the results. Atmosphere is more friends and family over people just being simple coworkers. Wifes hair was awesome with dual bright colors going on undercut and held for a long time considering brights and reds tend to fade faster. Her many styles over the years were always great. My DD loves having highlights put in as a reward for good behavior and they turned out great. I have what I consider a simple haircut but anytime I can't get in because of my schedule OTHER salons can't get it right >"

"I purchased a Groupon for one haircut, style, and full highlight from Karen. I left a good review on yelp, but as the days went on, I started to notice more I didn’t like about the highlights. It may be the terrible lighting in the salon, which makes you think you got a great color. Initially, I was pleased until I got in the car to see a very sloppy line of demarcation right where you cannot hide it. I asked Karen to fix it, and so I came in the next day to hopefully get this fixed. She basically made it more blonde and did not correct the harsh line. Now the right side of my head is more blonde than the left..I am super upset about how it looks. As the days go by I notice more, and overall it just looks sloppy. It was a full highlight I purchased, but she only colored the upper portion of my head, as the underneath is still dark and it looks weird. I hadn’t colored my hair in 2 years, and now I’m scared to do it ever again! Hopefully this was a one time thing, and doesn’t occur for anyone else."
