"My experience was about 6 months ago. In Oct of 2020, but after I saw another review, I decided it was time to post mine. We went to check out the 1/2 price appetizers. I had never been here, and the person I was with had only been here once. Their prior time was not a good experience, but decided to give it a go anyhow. Upon entering, we were told to sit where we wanted. We chose a table right off to the corner of the bar area, in plain sight of staff. After waiting about 15-20 minutes the person I was with was ready to get up and walk out. We didn’t so much as have a “hello”, from anyone, and not even a water to start. Just completely ignored. We stayed a bit longer and I asked a staff member passing by if someone would be helping us. She very quickly seemed concerned and said she would get someone. Another 15Min passed and no one showed up. We were quite frustrated so we started to get up, and as we did, someone approached and apologized and said they would get us water and be right with us. Soon after, the water came and she said she’s be back in a minute. Well, that minute turned into another 15. A total of 45min now, only water on the table, and no order even taken yet. I need to interject that this whole time, there were consistently 2-3 wait staff gals behind the bar socializing regularly, including our waitress. We were ready to pop our corks and that gal finally came over. From that point on, the night went well. Food came in reasonable time once ordered, it was hot, and very good. However, the service for that first 45 minutes was absolutely pathetic. The gal I was with told her sister of the story, and found her sister had a similar experience. So, 3 for 3 on the visits I’m aware of.... service is terrible. I “may” get a wild hair and try it again some time, and if things are better, I can update my review. For now, I am in no hurry to return to this very frustrating experience. Especially when many others have experienced the same. If they would clean up their act on service, and actually act like they care, it could be a good place to go."
