"Welcome to 1984. Dystopian America has arrived. Barely a human in sight. Eat lunch in a deserted ikia breakroom. Can't get condiments. No refill on drink without standing at counter and waiting to be noticed by severely unmotivated employees. I guess it's better than the McDonald's in Clive where water was leaking out of the ceiling all over the floor. Des Moines area food options are pretty much abysmal."

"Asked for unstaled fries since McDonald's is known to over salt, I received extra salt on my fries, so I refused to eat the death traps, I'm sure 3 weeks' worth of sodium awaited... The chicken sandwich was as expected. Service otherwise than ignoring my customization request was decent. The booths were uncomfortable, which was strange for something so new. You'd be more comfortable on the sidewalk outside."

"Let me start by saying that I used to never eat at McDonald’s because of the service and food quality. When this location first opened, I decided to try it out to see if anything was different. I don’t have enough good things to say about this place. Always have had amazing service, food has been hot and ready in a short manner of time, and the restaurant is always spotless. The employees here definitely take pride in making sure every customer leaves happy, and visiting this location changed my entire opinion on going to McDonald’s."

"Designed to eat and leave. Very utilitarian. No self-service drinks. Only self-service condiment is ketchup packets....really could at least use a pump. Food was good though! Staff actually came out of the kitchen when people needed counter assistance. That's more than I can say for the Hickman location! Overall, good job. Will be back"

"It is a chance for an entirely new cycle to begin in our lives a beautiful time to inspire new beginnings. This is a new location with brand new furnishings. Food is what you would expect. No playplace . Drinks and condiments are behind the counter."
