"We bought universal life insurance policies 30 years ago and have dutifully paid our monthly premiums. At the time we purchased the policies we were told by the agent that the interest made on the policies would keep them from expiring and keep the premiums basically the same or minimally higher. Now that we are older and retired, Midland National Life has increased our monthly premiums over 100% on one policy and almost 400% on the second policy. We feel like they are deliberately pricing us to the point we will drop the policies, unable to afford the premiums. We feel this is nothing short of a disgraceful assault on seniors."

"BEWARE!!!! My mother in law has had a $25000 universal life insurance with this company for 36 years. She has paid her premiums faithfully. She is now 97 years old and $405 a month is what she has been paying. She is on a fixed income and that is an absolutely ridiculous, criminal amount to be charging an elderly person. Today she called to see what the cash value was because the $405 will go up again on her birthday. $37 ...... yep folks $37 !!!!!!! She has paid MORE than the amount of the policy!!!!! That's 37 dollars folks!!!!!!! Don't trust this company to sell you anything. Insurance fraud at its finest. Taking advantage of the elderly.... without a doubt"
