"Our mail has been dropped off at other addresses for the the last few weeks. And are receiving other people's mail? Now I have a package missing and no one is answering the phone at the main office?"
"I have always loved this post office. It's always clean and I like that it's spacious enough that you're not breathing down the persons neck in front of you because you're crammed in. The employees have always been more than helpful and I am always greeted with smiling, friendly faces. I have had this as my main post office for years. They delivered my mail to my street address in Carson for years and now I have a P.O. Box there. Never a lost package and always right on time. I also love the self-service kiosk. Note to the lady that gave 1 star regarding the self service kiosk ~ You gave 1 star because you were upset the employee wouldn't give you your stamps without proving you purchased them. I don't know what business wouldn't make you prove you purchased your item, and it turns out you didn't even get charged for them! It just seems like you didn't use the kiosk correctly so I don't know why they deserve a 1 star rating. And a note to the lady driving an hour multiple times for a passport ~ If you went the first time or even a second time and couldn't get what you needed done, did you think of calling the post office? I have called a couple times during business hours and a live person always answers that is actually at this post office."
"honestly the lady was super friendly and really helped me out. i felt super silly because i didn’t know what i needed to do to get new keys, and she walked me through everything. she was super kind and helpful! also, i BARELY had to wait! i stopped by before i had to work in reno (and i am a chronically late person, and of course did not leave with much extra time), so i was stressed that it might take me an extra 45-60 minutes to leave that day, but i was in and out within 15 minutes (which was great because i really only gave myself that much time anyway!) there was two or three people in line before me (and only two workers!) too, so they were great at their job getting everything taken care for people quickly. they are also so patient there! i remember there was one person before me that the lady had to explain something to them 6 times before they could grasp the idea. she was never even frustrated. the customer at the counter at the same time as me (so i was with one worker, and the other employee had a customer too) was being so nasty the poor girl. but she was such a trooper, and never stopped trying to help him. as someone who works in a retail pharmacy, i understand people yelling at you about things they know nothing about. the way she handled the situation was with grace and diplomacy. nothing against the post office at all, nearly everyone else in that store (minus the employees) was SO grumpy. i’m surprised how up beat the workers were after being talked down to so much. BE KIND TO POSTAL WORKERS PLEASE. hey we’re all trying our best out there, i’m sure they are too"
"Since I have lived in this area, the Reno distribution center has lost packages. And, according to the current supervisor working at the Little and Roop office, it is becoming a more common problem than people are aware of. (I had a Priority mail package "lost", and had to purchase all new items.) Also, I've had my mail accidentally stuck in the machines, because they always came through open for some odd reason. Or had to be retapped. Several places I put stop mail. (Maybe someday I will...hope so)"
