"I decided to try my luck at Capo Italian Beef for a meal at NewBo. I heard the Chicago Dog had been selling well today, so I got it in a combo with some fries. The hot dog took a while to prep but it came in a decent amounts of time with all the trimmings (tomato, pickle spear, peppers, diced onions, and green relish). The hot dog was pretty filling but kind of on the lukewarm side. Had it been cooked more, it would have been better. The toppings were fresh but kind of difficult to eat without making a mess. That said, the fries were pretty tasty. Crispy and well-seasoned. They didn’t need much in the ways of condiments. I think Capo could do better on their hot dogs. If they do, they’d get more customers coming back. Next time I go, I’ll grab an Italian Beef Sandwich."

"I have always gotten the Italian beef rice bowl with mozzarella and Giardiniera peppers. It is the closest thing to Portillos and actually, better! I love how the rice bowl tastes and you get so much that you can have it later as well. The pasta salad is an absolute must as well!"

"Located within NewBo Market, they are offering some chicago classics. Chicago Dogs, Italian Beef, Combo Beef sandwiches, pasta salad etc. Had the combo beef sandwich on saturday, it was excellent! Definitely worth a stop if you're craving a taste of chicago."
