Reviews
"Expensive for fast food. 30 for 4 tacos, rice, beans and 2 sodas. The taco shells were overcooked to the point of tasting burnt. Both the chicken and ground beef tacos were very dry and came with a little cheese and lettuce as toppings. Do t recommend this place. You place your order find a seat and they call out the orders no names or numbers so you really have to pay attention to know when your order is up."
"Authentic Mexican food, flavor was pretty good. First time visiting. Plenty of items on the menu to choose from. Service with a smile and the atmosphere was good. Left with a full feeling, the portions were also good."
"Everything is made fresh! You might have to wait for your food but the wait is worth it! They have a Tuesday special of 5 tacos for 5.99 your choice of beef or chicken and you can do soft or hard shell. You can mix and match too. Two of the 5 fill me up. The hash brown breakfast burrito is amazing too. Very authentic and very tasty! A great addition to CR imo!"
"This place reminds me of De Leon’s in Nebraska. The food is pretty decent. I wouldn’t go as far as to say “amazing” but it’s close. The service was friendly, although still learning the menu, which caused some confusion. We ordered the plates meal #7 (two burritos) and a veggie burrito. Burritos were huge! We dined inside and the atmosphere is great. Only problem is poor ventilation created a smoke filled environment. Smoke as in grease smoke. It was pretty heavy while there. You will leave smelling like this place. Food was decent and they have a wide selection of tasteful salsa to choose from. The creamy green sauce is HOT! Queso is water consistency with a bit of bite. Good flavor though. All in all, I would recommend."
"Burritos are large lots of chicken not a lot of flavor. Queso pure liquid consistency. The Cheese enchiladas were small and the cheese was not melted. Chips sit out under a warming light so you can just grab what you want buffet style. Not a big fan of that but that's me. Menu boards are very large and easy to read, but the person taking your order has to duck to even see you and the front counter person had on a headset and was listening to his own thing. Not focused on customers. Like the old Taco John's you can still see into the kitchen which I know this happens but we just don't see it however the gal was taking orders and touching her headpiece with an uncovered hand. Then reaching on the grill and flipping tortillas with her bare hands. So to me that's not very sanitary. I can safely say that was a one and done visit for me. The cheese enchiladas we're small and around $12 for two. However, the chicken burritos I got were around $13 and they were huge. Just another run of the mill Mexican restaurant but from our experience on the very low side of the scale."
