Mercer Park

"The park is ok for kids like 4 and up. The pool area doesn't answer their phone so unfortunately you cant reach the pool for hours but you can by calling customer service tho!!! The people at the desk are super helpful. We walked into pool area and they had a stereo with cord straight infront of the door so my toddler tripped and almost fell. Common sense lacking even with a large group doing cpr training. The family changing rooms are the best ive seen yet at any swim facility My favorite part was how the pool was set up though. The metal hand rail / drain around the kids side was perfect so my son could have a little independence to shuffle himself around. The ramp with a nice safe slope. I liked the bigger kids and adults having middle pool or far end options."

"This park has a fantastic playground with TONS of activities for kids of all ages! There is plenty of seating for parents, a pavilion, shade trees nearby, and so much more. I didn’t see a restroom near the playground, though. Even without a restroom, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re anywhere near this park."

"I'm only giving this park 4 instead of 5 stars because of the lack of restrooms at the playground (you have to go inside the building with the pool to use the restroom) and overall safety concerns. There are a lot of shootings that take place at this park which is a real shame because the playground equipment is AWESOME! I love that they kept (and renovated) the original fire truck play equipment, and they have so many awesome things for all age levels and abilities, and it's ADA accessible and approved which is wonderful. A few more swings would be nice as well, but I do love that they have swings for all ages and abilities as well. We'll definitely be back, we'll just be careful about the time we come for safety reasons."

"Great park with lots of mature trees, a nice playground and canopy, baseball fields, tennis courts, aquatic center and big parking lot. The area is safe as there is always police patrolling the area."

"Lovely, clean, and big playground for kids. Many different kinds of activity-based play equipment. Love it. Big open area for a picnic and a nice walking trail surrounding the park. 4 star because no water fountain. Of course, an excellent location for big gatherings."
