"Amy was I guess as professional as an accountant should be; slow to get our taxes back, didn't mention that they were billing hourly instead of by the form. We normally use TurboTax but because of the 1031 exchange, we couldn't figure out how to do the exchange. We had to file an extension and seek out professional help. I was very dismayed to find out they charged me $3300 for personal taxes with a 1031 exchange. They graciously gave me an $800 discount (I guess to make me feel better about spending $2500), but $2500 is still way way to much for what they did. When I questioned why the fee was so high, Amy just said it is for time spent, no negotiations whatsoever. They charged me $480 for a 40 min consultation and about 3 emails they termed "constant communication". I'm very unhappy with the fee but I hope my taxes are correct and filed. I feel H&R Block would do the same job at a significantly lower fee. If you like to spend ALOT of money in fees for your taxes with little fanfare, slow communication, working with an assistant and not a certified accountant, then this is the place. I think I just made Mr. Gammett or Mr. King's next Lamborghini payment. Shame on me for that. Better luck next time I guess."

"I have been doing business with Any Gallup of Gamett and King Accountants for some time and wanted to show my appreciation to an outstanding employee. I thought of sending her something but I wasnt sure what to send. I finally realized that the best way would be tell her employers how I feel. When Amy first did my taxes I took her a box of mixed up papers and she was so efficient that she was able to make a tax return out of it. Last year I was going through some difficulties and didn't realize that I had waited until the day before tax day to call. When I called, she was a little put out with me but even though she was extremely busy she still managed to take care of me.
