Aurelia Park is a beautiful 9-hole golf course located on 50 acres of rolling landscape in Aurelia, Iowa. The course features a Par 35 layout with numerous trees lining the fairways, sand traps, and water hazards to challenge golfers of all skill levels. In addition to golf, the park offers a variety of amenities including picnic tables, a tennis court, basketball court, swing set, slide, and other outdoor play equipment for children. Visitors can also rent the shelter house which includes a stove, microwave, refrigerators, picnic tables, and serving counters. Next door is a heated outdoor swimming pool with a diving board and shaded seating area.
The Aurelia Youth League organizes summer baseball and softball programs for children ages 5 to 14, while the Cherokee County Conservation Board offers opportunities for camping, picnicking, hiking, fishing, hunting, and other outdoor activities in the area. I've been to this park a couple of times, needless to day it was clean and cozy and perfect for the amount of friends, and slides and swings and things to play on after the kids get their fill of sugar covered fun inside.
