"Our meals were good but I have to be very impressed to give a 5 star review. Service was good too. It took three different people to figure out how to seat a party of six. There was a birthday party of brats whose parents let them run wild. Though it wasn't the grills fault, I believe the concrete floors and lack of carpeting contributed to the excessive amount of noise. A possible solution might be a small party where people who don't make their kids behave could be locked in."

"Breakfast off the menu is best. Lunch is good-hard to go wrong with a burger or sandwich. Good fries. Dinner just OK. Soup was cold, wedge salad didn’t have much flavor, fish & chips was mediocre & my red, house wine was not drinkable(probably end of the bottle). I was told by the waitress that, quote “the bartender refused to replace the wine, and that I would be paying for it whether I drank it or not”, unquote."

"We were a party of 6 and dined in. We didn't have to wait to be seated. I love the view of the water. The restaurant was clean and had a relaxed feel. The staff was nice, but our waitress had to be told multiple times that she forgot something we ordered... I actually never got the one thing I reminded her 3 times about. It wasn't busy, so it was a little frustrating, but the food was fresh and very good. The spinach artichoke was the best I've had in a long time! When I visit the area, I would eat there again."

"Dinner was good, but the breakfast buffet on the weekends wasn’t any better than Holiday Inn fare, plus it’s expensive. I wish they had made-to-order breakfast during the weekends like they do during the week. I ordered a salad for lunch and got more chicken and dressing than I did greens. It’s an okay place to eat if you don’t want to leave the resort, but I HIGHLY encourage you to leave and check out some of the other places in town. Storm Lake has some great smaller restaurants locally owned that I prefer to support."

"The hostess greeted us as soon as we walked in and we got a table by the window. Our server was very attentive and fast. The food was ok - Mac and cheese tasted like the kind i can cook from a box; the broccoli cheese soup was very salty, as if it came from a can, and the salad tasted and looked like the bagged salads I get from the grocery store. I liked the location and the service; the food was not up to par."
