"Closed the pool. Rooms are outdated and dirty. Seems to be a trend with people buying Wyndham hotels and running them into the ground. Edit: The owner replies and says it has never listed to have a pool. On Google Maps there is literally a photo of a pool. You neglect to correct this and yes you can correct this with Google. Also the point you are missing is that it obviously used to have a pool and you turned it into a storage dump."
"Walked in to get room price. Was cheaper online so i booked with expedia in the lobby while the front desk was watching. Heard a ding when I made the reservation, told the front desk that was probably from my booking. He said yes and proceeded to check me into another room, double booking me. Instead of using my new reservation, he created one of his own, then didn't tell me that. Only asked for my card for "incidentals". I noticed this in my checking acct. Went back in the morning to resolve, they refunded the higher charged room. Then 2 days later, they charged me again for the same room when I'm in another state. Don't trust anyone there, don't waste your money, and avoid at all costs, cause it may cost you double."
"Worst experience ever….due to weather conditions, I decided to pull over and get a room. Upon arrival, I waited 5-10 minutes for someone at the front desk and when I got to my room, I was immediately sketched out. The room was dated, felt dirty, and had a bad odor. It was very odd to me that all of the doors to each motel room was open and I did not feel comfortable staying there at all. After pondering this for 30 minutes, I left the hotel and ended up driving further south."
"The rooms were very dirty. I saw all the reviews before staying here and was hoping that they were wrong. The good: It was $75 a night which isn't horrible I guess, once we pulled the comforter off the bed the actual sheets seemed to be pretty clean. The visible areas of the floors were definitely vacuumed, no dirt or small chunks anywhere. Counter tops were relatively clean as well. The bed was super comfortable, though we were too afraid to actually sleep inside of the sheets, so we had sleeping bags or wore heavy clothes and slept ontop of everything (minus the comforter) All the employees were pretty nice, the caretaker was a nice old Indian man, though he did walk into our room this morning while we were getting ready. It was an honest mistake, he probably thought we were gone. just a group of dudes going phesant hunting The Bad: First things first, they don't accept cash, card only for check in. There was a homeless dude crouched down in the corner of the entry way. I couldn't tell what he was doing but he would eye us down every time we tried to leave or enter the building Friday night. Almost looked like he was trying to charge a phone but at the same time didn't want any hotel staff to notice him there? Not sure but it was creepy. (Thank God SD recognizes our states CCW laws otherwise i would have felt way less safe) Upon entering the room, it was super dirty. The comforters had burns on them, and various different stains. I would bet that they haven't been washed in over a year. I wish I brought my black light like I usually do, but I forgot to pack it. I bet the comforter would light up like a Christmas tree with bodily fluids. The one room had an open (and empty thank god) package of syringes on the floor. So there's no way anyone can convince me that the previous tenants weren't heroin junkies. The package was under the bed skirt which we accidentally kicked out when getting changed. The towels in the bathroom had visible yellowing to them (which is sweat that has imbedded themselves in the towels, meaning they need to be replaced), the counter looked like it was going to break, multiple cracks in a couple different spots going down the front panel, and the paper towel holder was visibly disgusting. Not to mention the paper towel was put in the holder backwards. That was the worst part in my opinion. The kleenex holder looked like someone pulled a bunch of them out then stuffed them back into the box. There was this orange pipe going throughout the ceiling of the room for the sprinkler system. Definitely looked like it was a last second fix to comply with inspections. Most of the lights were lamps and all of the lamp shades were damaged and beat to hell. There was also a massive hole in the window screen and the frame was bent outwards. The "continental breakfast" was two cereal dispencers with a gallon of milk in a mini fridge and a coffe dispenser. I didn't even want to look at the waffle maker, we went to a gas station for breakfast. It was probably the safer choice anyway. I think next time we come out this way for a hunting trip were probably going to bring tents and try to find a camp site."
"This Super 8 was disgusting!! It was so filthy everywhere. The floors were dirty, the bedspreads had stains and cigarette holes. There was old dried-up food between the mattress and wall. The bathroom floor between the toilet and tub felt like you were going to fall through it. The dead bolt locks didn’t work, and the rooms smelt terrible. It was the worst place I have ever stayed in my whole life. If I would’ve been able to stay in my care or leave and go elsewhere I would’ve."
