"I got the aged ribeye and it was fall apart tender. It also looked great. But there was almost no flavor. 4 of us got the same thing and all had different results. One guys had flavor but was very tough. The service was good. The atmosphere looked like an old Denny's."

"Sioux County Livestock Co. is part of Family Table Restaurants, a group of over a dozen family dining locations in Northwest Iowa. I have visited a few locations, but I have been to Sioux County Livestock Co. several times and it’s always good. Definitely a mom & pop feel. The staff is friendly, the service is good and the food is always great. My favorite is the ribeye steak, always a good cut of meat and perfectly prepared."

"Only been here the one time, but don’t really have a single thing to complain about. They were slow, so this could have been part of it, but waitress was on top of checking up on me, and ensuring the meal went well. Chili was more of a thick hearty chili, which I prefer. I’m not in to getting a bowl of broth with some floating pieces of meat and beans. I make mine hearty as well, so I enjoyed theirs. The hot beef was very good. Nice amount of gravy, and the beef was tender and tasted good. Would not hesitate to try this meal again. I would also be interested in seeing how they do for other meals as well. This place has my vote."

"Update - 9/17/18 - Another good stop. Late in the day when I got there. Was seated immediately and given my drink. Server gave me some tips and I ended up settling on the pretzel burger. Great visit and I highly recommend. Recommended to eat here by a local. Food was great service was really fast. Clean. I will stop back when I am in the area. Meat lovers omelet"
