Santa Maria River Park

"Moving water in the desert. Can’t ask for much more than that. The park had a variety of exercise equipment, several benches and gravel & dirt trails along the river."

"Just a nice place to go for a walk and see the beauty this land has to offer us. A bonus is when the horses are there. Its really cool when they are there."

"It is a great place to take the dogs for a walk and great place to access the carson river . Nice paths to walk on and easy access .hardly anyone ever there .I love it so do both my dogs ."

"Hazard trees, a large tree fell overnight next to the path just north east of the exercise area, Walk every day, considering finding a different place to walk, too dangerous! Love this park but not worth the risk, if trees were taken care of it would be great. Would hate it if someone was injured or worse!"

"Nice park to take a walk and enjoy the river. It's a bit over run by weeds right now and the trees have blocked the rafting area."
