Cottonwood Cove Lower Campground is a beautiful park located in Searchlight, Nevada, United States. The campground offers lodging and a peaceful setting for visitors to enjoy the outdoors. The riverbanks were once lined with cottonwood trees, but many were cut down during the mining boom to be used as fuel for steamships. Ferry services were also available to transport people and vehicles across the river to and from Nevada and Arizona. For emergencies, visitors can call 911 or the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988. "Absolutely beautiful setting by the Colorado River! The drive from Searchlight is in itself breathtaking. Got here on an off-season day and was welcomed by everyone I met. Close to Vegas and nice road all the way. Brought my travel trailer , got a nice spot and professional assistance parking it from Chris who runs the camping. This is a very relaxed , beautiful and friendly place!"
"Very nice area. The river is clean, the water was warm, there is an area for camping. There is also a ramp for water ski, boats any watercraft. There is a booth at the entrance but no ranger on site to collect any fees. Also, there is WiFi."

"Absolutely perfect. Almost nobody at the camping site. Few boats meaning less noice. Beach empty all for myself. Merchandise store open with reasonable prices. This is a jewel place this time if the year."
