"I had recently purchased a 1970 Chevelle SS from a dealer in Des Moines. After delivery to me in Iowa City there were a couple of minor issues that needed to be addressed. The dealer from Des Moines knew Ed and contacted him about making the needed repairs. Ed made room on the calendar to fit me in and complete the repairs prior to winter setting in. I want to thank Ed and Nate for their outstanding service."
"They went above and beyond what I had asked them to do my 65 Malibu. Was more concerned about my car getting rained on than getting paid for the work they had done. When my wife stopped in to pay them the next day they wanted to make sure both of us were happy with the work that they had performed on the car and if we did have any questions or problems to contact them right away. Won't take the car any place else from now on."
"Awesome shop!!"
"These are just a few pics I took from my car that Resto rides started to restore. All of these parts of the car had been painted, as I was told the car "was ready for paint". Not only was the work subpar, but it has not held up t0 the harsh conditions of a dry storage unit. Most of the car was not prepped properly, the parts that were painted still had metal work to be done. instead Ed just painted over crackes in the steel. There were also rust pitting and numerous sanding scratches that were just painted over. On top of that the whole car needs to be re-seam sealed. The cowl of the car was never sealed just painted and the rest was either was old and cracked or has fallen off do to lack of prep. The list goes on and on. The $6500 that was paid to Ed to get to this point on top of the $800 in paint was a huge waist because it all has to be redone. I should also note that the car was purchased from Ed, as a rust free California car. We were told that it would be an "Easy Build". Resto Rides IS NOT a shop for anyone looking for a quality build."
"Great people"
