"I go into store asking for ONE tire. The salesman was pushing me to purchase 4. He was consistent and NOT listening. I only needed and wanted ONE. I told him I didn’t want to come to this store because last time I did purchase 4 without front end alignment, they did it anyways and charged me for this. So then I went to Discount Tire down the street, SO HAPPY I DID. Discount Tire is where my family and friends will forever shop . Big O tires should read uh-oh tires."
"I’ve always had great experiences at Big-O, and this time was no exception. Tom went above and beyond with his customer service to ensure that our van was fixed in a timely manner and that we understood the issues. Highly recommend!"
"Best place around the metro to get your car fixed! They’ve done tires, oil changes, and a starter for us! My engine was eating oil and they helped me have the terms to work with the dealership to get it covered by warranty! They are courteous and kind with every interaction! Only place I feel comfortable taking my vehicle!"
"I went in for 4 new tires. While there, the younger man up front spoke so degrading. I told him I only wanted a 1 time alignment with the tires and not the package he was trying to up-sell me on. He tried to explain an alignment to me despite me telling him I understood what it was and what I wanted to purchase. He ended up calling me and telling me they only offered a minimum 3 month alignment package. When I went to get my vehicle, I saw a sign right behind him with the price of a one time alignment. When it came time to pay, the cost was $450 more than what I was quoted. He entered the cost of the tires into the system as ~$100 more each. I rarely come to Big O because this seems to be my experience every time. They’re simply out for money and not genuine care."
"So, me and my wife have gone to Big O tires multiple times now. Gotten brakes changed, new tires, etc from them and have had a decent experience. My last two trips there have left me extremely frustrated. One experience was having a lug nut cross threaded by a different company, and when going to Big O’s to ask them to help take it off they said they would have to cut my wheel to take the lug nut off and it was a minimum $500 job max $800 and that was if I went a bought the supplies needed and brought them to Big O’s for a discount. I went and got a second opinion at Tims and he did the job for $150 plus a tire rotation. Another situation was when my wife and I brought our tires in to get them patched due to nails being in the tire. Even though the nails were around the same place on the tires for both cars they claimed mine was a sidewalk puncture and I would have to replace the tire. I was told getting 4 tires was most optimal but two would suffice. I was told that if I patched it then the patch would come right out when driving and it would not work on the tire. They wouldn’t even patch it if I wanted to because of their policy. So instead of buying tires right away which was their recommendation I went to Tim’s again and he said it was for sure patchable and did the job for $15 less than they charged my wife who for some reason had a “patchable” tire even tho the nails were in similar spots. I have now driven my car 200miles with the patch remaining in place with no issues. Either the policies here suck and it makes it almost impossible for a cheaper effective job or the employees aren’t well trained and are trying to rack up charges. I don’t know which is which but it’s disappointing I can’t trust a place so close to where I live and I’ll have to avoid going there because I can’t trust them. Update: 1,000 miles now on car. Patch never came out. Driving well!"
