"Very cool place to tour if you're interested in windmills. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was glad to share his knowledge."
"You can only see this collection of machinery and history of ingenuity at once place in the world and this is it. Very cool. Unique Iowa experience."
"This is a hidden gem, and a fantastic visit for anyone interested in great plains history, manufacturing, or windmills of course. The museum is the actual manufacturing floor of the Kregel windmill company, with much of the original equipment intact. The staff were genuinely knowledgeable about the company and manufacturing process, and were very friendly."
"Amazing place! Exceptional self-guided tour tech available, supplemented and brought to life in the stories told by Dave. There was so much to see and learn about windmills, history, politics, family, community, technology, mechanics, business, commerce, and the creation of a museum. It’s a time capsule preserved with great care; and I’ll never look at windmills the same way again! Excellent value for the admission, too."
"Isaiah Yott is the asst director. He loves his job there and takes it seriously. We stopped by Sunday afternoon and spent an hour there. Great videos and the factory looks like it did when they stopped in the 90s. Very educational tweens and below. I'm an engineer and enjoyed looking at the old manufacturing and machine equipment."
