Owned by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission but managed by the Arbor Day Foundation, Arbor Lodge State Historical Park is open for self-guided tours during the spring, summer, and fall, and on weekends in the winter. The mansion also hosts special events throughout the year and is available for private events such as meetings and weddings.

During the fall, it is quite possibly my favorite place in Nebraska....but don't worry, its beautiful all year round. If you're a tree fan, this is the holy grail of destinations. If you're on I-29, definitely make a quick detour here!"
