"This has been by far the easiest 5 star review I've left of any restaurant! Everything from the food, to the service and the environment of the restaurant was nothing short of top notch. Bari was better than restaurants 1.5 times the price in every way and it's also great to know that they're local to Cedar Rapids. If you're looking for the perfect date night or a fantastic spontaneous dinner look no further! I am truly amazed by the dining experience I had there. The only critique I would add is that I would have liked to see the desserts listed on the main menu. And yes, the desserts were out of this world too!"

"Amazing food. Not only did all four of us individually love our dinner choices, but the presentation and general atmosphere only added to the experience. Everything was phenomenal, the drink options were great, and we even had a delicious creme brulee for dessert."

"Bari Italian delivers on all counts. The decor is contemporary, pleasant, and warm. Our server was very friendly, efficient, and highly knowledgeable. Most importantly, the food was exquisite. My wife was served what she regarded as the best chicken parm she's ever had. The cutlet was perfectly prepared and served on a bed of incredible handmade pasta. I had a jumbo shrimp and scallops served on parmesan risotto. It was amazing. The scallops were tender and flavorful. The shrimp was nicely seasoned with cracked black pepper, which I thought was a nice touch. The risotto was filled with flavor with perfect texture. Bari Italian is highly recommended!"

"Great restaurant. It's nice to have such a quality restaurant in our area. The pasta was so good, made fresh in the restaurant. Love the atmosphere and the background music. What could have been better? We could have been seated in the dining area with the nicer table locations instead of a part booth part table in the bar area. The restaurant had only a couple of other customers at the time, so there were plenty of tables available, as we were there for dinner. Street parking seemed to be the only option. Based on the owners' reply, I guess my observations and concerns are all my fault since I didn't tell the server to sit us somewhere else. Probably won't return now."
