"I was with a large party tonight. Reservations had been made, and we were granted our request to sit near a big screen tv. Love our Iowa Women's basketball! My meal was $16 and larger than I'd imagined (grilled pork loin sandwich). Hot, crisp fries. The pork was tender and not greasy. Fresh lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes. I can't have alcohol and ordered a virgin drink. The server suggested half piña colada, half strawberry daiquiri. I ordered 2 and should have asked if they would still charge $12 each. They did. Lesson learned. While at Tavern Blue, the owner came out and visited with us. He took a photo of our table ( with our permission, of course) in honor of it being International Women's Day. A very nice guy! What else? The women's restroom was very clean and well-stocked. I highly recommend Tavern Blue!"

"Visited on 1/27/24 between 12:40-1:10:pm. Slow service, approx. 50 patrons inside an expansive building that can hold over 300. Only 2 servers, 1 bartender & 2 cooks. Unique atmosphere. Food is 50/50... had their "spicy" chicken sandwich which was bland and included 3 little thin chicken strips per half."

"Spacious place with a chill vibe and fun games. They have mini golf, Jenga, Connect-4, Foosball, and darts. They also have a tv screen on one side. The staff were super nice. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and they agreed to hide her cake for us and bring it out after we finished our meals. All the food we tried was yummy. They had several options that pleased our diverse group. We ordered the Breaded Mushrooms, Greek Salad, Coconut Shrimp, Bianca Pizza, Pesto Garden Pizza, and Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp. No complaints on any of the dishes. The Greek Salad was very large and paired with the Shrimp was a good meal to feed one hungry adult, but would also be good for 2. The pizza’s were definitely enough to share between 2-3 people. Will be visiting again to hang out and play some games."
