Zio Johno's - Cedar Rapids 3120 Edgewood Road Southwest next to Walmart, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404

"So my roommate today went into this place on her lunch break to get us both some cheesy bread and a gondola for myself. Before she went to the counter to order she decided to use the restroom. Apparently that is a big no no at this restaurant. After being in there for a minute a man entered and asked if anyone was in there. Was probably gonna clean it but my roommate says probably not cuz it was very dirty and she said it looked like they hadn't cleaned it in a long time. She said she was going to the bathroom and would be out in a minute. Another minute goes by and he came back in saying "are you still in here?" She said yes and he said "this is not a public restroom , this is for customers only" she said he muttered some other unintelligible nonsense before slamming the door. Needless to say I did not have a gondola for lunch like I thought nor did she have any cheese bread. I would say to the owner that you being that way towards your customers is a quick way to get rid of them . And honestly the food is not good enough to have to be treated that way . So I won't be going back and I'll do my best to make sure none of my friends or family do either."

"I give 1 star because I'm not a totally unreasonable person and 1 for fast service. But I have to say the chicken Alfredo was bland the chicken on it was dry all I tasted was the pasta sauce that seemed like a slap together at best... the ONLY reason I finished my plate was that I wasn't going to waste a $13.99 plate of over priced slop ... sorry not sorry... do better..$13.99 is waaaaay to much. And also the "garlic " bread... didn't even taste like it had garlic on or in it.. probably won't be returning until prices come down or quality expectations meets reasonable prices."

"OVER PRICED!!! $8+ for a basic plate of spaghetti and $14 for a plate of Chicken Alfredo!!! Bonkers!!! My spaghetti was over boiled, the sauce was watery and clearly tasted of sugar. I take my spaghetti seriously and I think it was subpar. Sorry...but when I can cook better spaghetti at home and pay $25 for 2 plates of pasta and a plate of garlic bread that doesn't garlic then I have complaints. If your patrons enjoy these prices good for them but it's way too much for me. Then they ask for a tip...for what??? Getting shafted twice? The waitress cupper her hands all over the top of the Parmesan, Salt & Pepper. Gross! I don't know where your hands have been lady!!! I wasn't even able to trade any words or eye contact with this waitress. Good, bad or in between..."

"This place is so good. I got the meatball sub and it was really good and the bread was amazing. It was so filling for just $12. Service was even better! She was able to describe in detail everything on the menu and the food was out very quickly. I can’t wait to come back!"

"Our first visit was stellar! We were very impressed with the quality of the food. We will be eating here again in the future."
