Benson Park

"I've been to this park more than any other one at this point. It's such a nice park. Lots of fowl to watch swimming around, the lake is beautiful and it has a good playground area for the kiddos. There have been a few times I've noticed people not cleaning up after their dogs, and there is poo from the geese/ducks. There is plenty of seating, so thankfully, you don't have to sit on the ground. Might get some whiffs of cannabis. It seems pretty normal around the park to smell it, between all the parking or the occasional person smoking in the park itself. All in all, it is a great park. It's well taken care of and worth going to. Would recommend and will definitely be coming back."

"A really great playground right next to a pond with a great path around it for jogging, walking or strolling. It looks like they have a pavilion for gatherings. It was all closed for the winter when we were there, but looks accommodating."

"This park feels like it's straight from a movie scene. Having grown up in a small town, moving to the big city made me miss the charm of those intimate parks. Here, you see people getting into a game of basketball on a pristine court, families strolling by the large pond, watching geese bask in the sun, or searching for their afternoon meal. Kids are everywhere, tossing footballs, while the little ones conquer the huge playground. Even adults are letting loose, revisiting their childhood on the swings. Everywhere you look, there are smiles, laughter, and a symphony of shared memories. I'm truly thankful that in this fast-paced world, we still find moments for park afternoons, especially with gems like Benson Park around."

"By far, one of my favorite Parks in Omaha to hang out at. Not only does it have a breathtaking scenery, but a water fountain, plenty of benches, tables, parking spaces, etc. Definitely a pleasurable experience."

"The ducks were pretty and cute and the park is being kept up, got a park and water park but the water is not working. Not to busy and everyone was nice. Good place for rollerblading and skating if wanted. The water could be cleaned in the pond tho a little bit."
