"Built in 1923, the Jewel Building and Dreamland Ballroom was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and designated an Omaha Landmark in 1982. Today, the building hosts the Great Plains Black History Museum and the Omaha Industrial Council. Its a tremendous resource to the entire city of Omaha."
