"Came to Hillside with a 2 week check in and last minute notice. They were accommodating, but the first room had some issues. They have us a different room and compensation on top of the already very reasonable rate. No tax added either. Will stay here every time I'm working in Blair."
"Quaint and lovely little gem! Privately owned and run, this was a treasure to find and you better believe we'll be staying here again if we need a room while passing through! Our room was decorated with 1950s themed decor and was very clean. The beds were quite comfortable. The owner was very nice and stayed up until we got there. The area was vert quiet and had the feel that we could have slept with the doors unlocked like when I was a kid. Absolutely recommend."
"This place is perfect!! Home away from home!! I slept awesome and very affordable!! And then things took a turn for the worst.. Stayed 6 paid for 7 and the insane owner lady came and beat on the door in the morning and just tried to walk in but we had screen door locked.. Thank God cause I was practically naked.. Screaming no locked doors this is my house and proceeded to rant and rave about nonsense.. To make a long story short paid for 7 days stayed for 6 she said we didn't and kicked us out it was a awsome place to stay until that happened.. For whatever reason she had for that is beyond me.. Because we couldn't even get a word in... So if you plan to stay make sure you check your reciept and keep it or you might just have a lunatic beating on your door in the am P. S. Lock all doors"
"This Motel by far is better than any Hotel I have been to. I travel the world and stay in Hotels and Motels throughout the world and this motel takes the cake!! It looks like a little cute motel but once you pay....YOU ENTER HEAVEN. This place looks like your own house. They have everything where it needs to be. From dishes to towels to dish soap...napkins in the kitchen...Nice Flat screens and decorated to knock your socks off. The bed is so comfortable that you don't even want to get out of it....NO EXAGGERATIONS EITHER. This motel is AWESOME. Even the was room makes you feel like your at home. GREAT JOB IN YOUR BUSINESS. WE WILL BE BACK!!"
