"They picked up the phone and hung it up in my face after letting it ring for ten minutes. Shortly after thay, they took it off the hook so I couldn't call back. I was given this number to call for my new set of mailbox keys. It's a shame that people these days would do stuff like this rather than helping the customer out. That's why they'll be stuck at the bottom of the ladder their entire lives, struggling to make ends meat. When you care a little bit shows and you're rewarded for your hard work in the long run, just as I was."

"I recently submitted an online request to hold mail while out of town for several days. I received email confirmation at the beginning and end of my trip. I returned to pick up my mail at the Minden Post Office and was informed by Donna that "we don't care about your email. If you didn't come in and fill out a form we wont hold your mail." I now have FIVE MISSING PACKAGES. All Christmas gifts for our daughter, likely stolen from our porch. Thanks Donna , horrible service!!! My grandfather was a Post Master General. There used to be pride in the USPS."

"After living in the valley for the last 20 years and using the two Gardnerville Post Offices, Minden by far has the best customer service hands down! The window clerks are wonderful and the Post Master, Terry is the BEST! Wish all post offices would model themselves after Minden! Keep up the awesome work!"

"I called the standard 1 800 post office phone number trying to identify which post office could do my passport. Going through the selections the automated person informed me Minden post office was my nearest available and that they take walk ins from 11-4. Collected my papers, checks, pictures and drove over an hour to get there. I get there around 1 and there is a large sign out front that says "passports here". However, the clerk (tall w/ dark hair) at the counter sent me away saying they don't take walk ins and that the lady that does passports is out. I informed him that I called the automated clerk and was informed otherwise. He still refused to help me even though they had capability. Terrible."
