"Im going to try VERY hard to keep this short but I also want to share with you the details of my experience so that you may be properly warned. This woman-who turned out to be a "friend" of the actual shop owner for "25 years" has ZERO business working in the crystal industry. My 2 girls and I entered Crystal Cove and were immediately met with an irritated woman complaining of how badly she needed a break. But first, she BARKED at my 2 young girls to SHUT THE DOOR and then followed EVERY move I made, standing no more than a foot away, staring, not saying a word, as I browsed looking for Chrysocolla. She informed me that they did not carry this crystal but after looking around less than a minute I see a glass full of Chrysocolla on a shelf. Inquiring of its healing energies, her response was "I dunno" and walked away. One of my girls asked her why one spirit animal stone was $16 but the other was only $4. A question I too was curious to learn. She scoffed and said, "Cuz its bigger!" and then scoffed again. (Mind you, these 2 items were the exact same size: one a turtle, one a camel THE EXACT SAME SIZE.) She'd repeatedly glare at my kids, huff and follow it up by mumbling "hmph.....kids..". I see a small sign: "$10 for 5 stones" "$5 for 2 stones" and "$3 for one". I pick out 7. I also pick a $1 cord and a $3 cage for the stones. My girls each pick a $16 spirit animal. SOMEHOW this woman declares w/out skipping a beat, "A HUNDRED AND FIFTY NINE DOLLARS". $159. I ask her how she figured that comical price. She taps away at her calculater, BARKS at me to "HOLD ON" and keeps tapping away. I repeat back the order: 2 spirit animals. $32. A set of 7 stones. MThat's $15. $1 cord, $3 cage-she interupts me "That cage is $4!" I inform her that her little sign says "$3 for ALL wired cages" and she says, "WELL THE SIGNS WRONG!!!" Again I ask, how she came up with $159. She continues to tap away, ignoring my price explanation and at this point Im getting a little annoyed myself as shes refusing to listen and agree and allow me to pay her the correct amount. My younger daughter puts her hand on 3 of the stones and tries to explain to the woman, "these are $10..." the woman PUSHES her hand away from our stones the way you swat a fly and that was it for me. I quietly explain to the lady that the energy is off, negative, uncomfortable and that being charged $100 OVER the actual price is a bit much and she yells at me, "THAT WAS A MISTAKE!" as she continues tapping away on her little device. I tell her to go ahead and help her other customer and when she figures out how to get this order to the $159 she's trying so desperately to become, Ill come back. I turned and took my daughters hand and walked out the door. No regrets. I will HAPPILY choose another shop-one without the negative energy, drama and FRAUDULENT workers!!"
"Little bro wanted to check out this shop and I’m into stones so I was happy to tag along. Small shop, rude owner who after my brother made his purchase turned to me and asked “are you gonna buy anything?”. I might’ve if you offered help while I was looking at the rings but after that snarky comment I won’t be back. This place can kick rocks"
"Absolutely gorgeous and comfortable crystal shop with pleasant incense the second you walk in There’s even a dark room you can walk into that presents ultraviolet light activated minerals Such a patient and friendly shop owner too :]"
"It was fun looking at the collection of all the stones, jewelry, and assorted minerals. There are many peices and other items within that make for good study and to add to any persons passions."
