StanCraft is legendary for some pretty wild creations. Mac Scott has recently become a licensed California Yacht Broker. The lake is full to the top and we are having one of our busiest summers ever. Come on by and see some of our new boat listings in our showroom.

"Stopped by to look at the boats, everyone was super nice. We walked out back and were looking at the boats in for service, one of the employees came by and I expected him to say, you can’t be back here, this is for employees only. On the contrary, he encouraged us to look around and even look at the boats being worked on in the shop. If you like wooden boats, definitely stop by."
"Great experience working with Mac to buy my 20ft custom. Great experience in service as well. Everyone is friendly and happy to see you there, even before I bought a boat and got a slip. 10/10!"
"I have not had a good experience with Sierra Boat. It is a beautiful place with a marvelous selection of boats. The staff is very friendly. The guys in the yard and in the shop are great. However, I brought it there to sell and to repair anything needed immediately so it could be sold. I was told there would be a $500 inspection done immediately so I would know what to repair if anything. The inspection wasn't done for 1.5 years and after me getting irritated. I was told it would be marketed. It wasn't. It wasn't even on the web site. The salesman Mac promised me many things. He didn't perform on any. No returned phone calls or emails for weeks if not months. Then mis communication on what was to be done. He told me the boat bottom leaked. I asked where. He said everywhere and It would probably require a new bottom. 38k. I asked to have a inspection and actual report. While getting that done he discovered one had already been done 6 mo prior that he didnt know about and therefore didnt give to me. That report showed the leak was just a seal. Mac told me the boat could have some other possible problems but couldn't tell me what or where or what it would take to fix. He just wanted me to pick up the boat as they couldnt sell the boat with possible issues that he couldnt explain or quantify. I could go on and on about the problems. I rather can sum it up to say it appears many good hardworking generations built this great place but the current generation running the place isn't of the the same cloth. It appears the employees are now running it best they can without much supervision and it appears the sales people are simply waiting for someone to walk in the door. I could be wrong but my boat was there 2 years and this was my experience. I set an appointment to pick up the boat. I just picked it up.. No one was there to explain what was done or even meet me. I immediately took it to a wood boat competitor on the lake for an inspection. They said the boat was in good condition and the bottom was in good condition."
"Very nice people there I know so much it wasn't a plan stop but if I'm ever in the area I will stuff again"
"Largest restorer of vintage wooden power boats. Stop by to see history and tradition."
