"I don’t generally post reviews but this was such a horror story I feel the need to warn away others. After hiring them to do my taxes, I provided all my personal documents in early March. A week before the April deadline I call to check in. Turned out they misplaced my file - they quickly file for an extension and put me on the back burner. I continue to contact them every few to check on the status, but I have never gotten an update. When I email I get a canned response that my message was received. When I called they agreed that I should be concerned and said they would talk to the principal - I never heard back. Over 3 months past the deadline, and starting to approach the extension deadline, it is clear to me that they will not be doing my taxes. I’m now forced to pay a premium to hire a new accountant for a rush job, not to mention all the hours of effort and stress I’ve already put in. I have no idea how they were so disastrously incompetent at their core business function, but if you want to spend a year stressing about getting your taxes done with nothing getting done, you should hire Clayton Financial and Tax."
