H&R Block

"This is not the place to go. Lost my paperwork 3 times, SANDRA is worthless, can't even return a call. Will never go back H&R should do a better job at getting people that can function."

"This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with H&R Block. I called in advance to schedule appointments to file 3 years of taxes. The manager “Kiana” suddenly cancelled all of my appointments and did not have the courtesy whatsoever to even give me a phone call to let me know. I wasn’t aware my appointments were cancelled until I called to ask a few questions before my “upcoming appointments I thought I had” so I can have all my documents prepared. Kiana was very rude on the phone — she was talking over me and basically trying to blame me for “Sonja” who is a tax person with not a lot of experience as the others in the office — was struggling with one of my returns asking a lot of questions from her other co-workers when I was in the office. I came in two appointments and she STILL did not have the return completed. Then I opted for her to just move forward with the next year instead that’s when Kiana cancelled all my appointments the next day. Then, when I finally spoke to Kiana after requesting a call back a day later, she was rude as if it’s my fault her tax professional cannot complete my return timely when I had everything she needed ready. Then she was suppose to assign me another tax professional , she never did that either. Instead AFTER I called again, 2 days later she claimed there is no one to help at the office and there are “50 other locations in Las Vegas I can go to”. She was not apologetic at all and did not care how they treated my time. Extremely unprofessional office on all levels I would not trust them to do my returns. Kiana does not have professional management skills whatsoever. Extremely GHETTO."

"The staff there is excellent always. However, this year when I had my taxes prepared I was charged an additional 120.00 and was told it was because I was a student. I am not a student, I am employed full time I am paying my student loans and apparently H & R block is charging 120.00 to enter the 1 number from my form 1098 E. I paid 220.00 for a return that took 10 minutes absolutely ridiculous. I appreciate your response, however, I already called that number yesterday. No one can explain to me why I paid 80.00 last year and was charged 220.00 this year. Same job as last year, same student loan, no explanation why the change in price. I have not heard back from anyone."

"Horrible horrible horrible experience! I have never had this bad of an experience at H&R Block. They had me send in multiple secure documents to an apparent “secure link” and never called me back with the status of my tax doc. I been waiting since April, calling every single day with no return call. Someone finally answers who was Samual White and decided to laugh at my situation! He did nothing to try to help or fix my problem. He laughed at the fact I was upset which who wouldn’t be if you’re social security number is on these documents and all of a sudden they’re LOST! He then gave me the number to Anna Chavira who hung up in my face before even trying to hear the issue. All I know is if anything ends up on my social I am filing a lawsuit! I’m highly upset and disappointed!"

"For me, getting a root canal is more preferable than doing taxes, that is until Louis did my taxes. I really liked Louis. He made it easy asked all the right questions and was interested in maximizing my deductions. He made me feel like I was his only client. He did a great job on my return. I will be back next year. He gets a 10+ in my book. Thank yo so much and thank Louis. Roslyn Brooks"
