"DO NOT RENT HERE! As stated in previous reviews extra fees and charges turn your rent into almost $500 more than the original price during showings. It is unsafe, expensive, and a cash grab from a corporate company. High turnover rate for office employees so expect a different person every time you have to visit the office or to just be ignored and avoided. The ammenities are disappointing and usually not in working condition along with overpriced bar food at the restaurant. Before it was 'Scottys' the only times I had gone to 'Beccas' there was half inch of bone in two DIFFERENT proteins from TWO different items on their menu (fish and chicken). Do not expect craft or service unless sitting at the bar. Other services such as hair cuts, massages, and nail services will be added to your bill months after you recieved the service with no explaination or itemized list at a random price. There are only 6 available spots for any excercise classes so hopefully you can reserve it on the app before the 100+ people that live here. They change their apps and acceptable ways to pay rent to keep everything constantly changing and confusing to people that live here. Never expect an inspection to be on the date and time stated, it will always change. If you rent on the first story expect cockroach infestations and many scorpions although you are charged monthly for pest control. The floors are not sealed with caulk, so get ready to cuddle up with lots of bugs! I have never seen anyone come spray or do any pest control in my year of living here. Groundskeepers do not pick up trash behind apartments or anywhere not in a main walk way "out of sight out of mind". Dog areas smell rancid of concentrated urine, especially during the summer months. I have seen a pressure washing of these areas one single time so hopefully saturated urine soaked fake grass is your favorite smell. They threaten a dog poop investigation service with fees and expectations but there are always piles of poop laying in the dog area. I have wanted to bring bags of dog feces to the office to help them out with this issue and encourage you to do the same if you live here. On a seperate animal contract they promise to evict and fine neighbors who have dogs that have threatened to bite or made others feel uncomfortable along with 'prohibited breeds', this is simply untrue. There has been incidents of people being actually bitten (confirmed to me by a vendor who knew the person bitten) and others where a dog has shown multiple signs of aggression and managment have failed to act on their own contract. If that doesn't make you feel safe, I have had my porch closet broken into including everyone in my building and nothing was done. Once I was made aware of this by the only security guard that cared, she was promptly let go. Others have had their garages broken into after paying $250 a month for "secure storage". I have called their personal security to complain and they redirected me to "call someone else but this call is recorded and will go to your property manager". There are promises of security cameras but yet they have failed to review footage even when faced with unlawful and contract breaking actions, and still chose to ignore and not correct situations or make any attempt at follow ups. I might assume the cameras are fake. Make sure you have your own security camera and footage otherwise there will be no action taken. They make this community seem safe and luxurious but it is diamonds on sh*t. If you call the office with an issue expect them to ignore you until you start emailing managment. If you pay for the parcel service at least one of your packages will be stolen as I have now had 2 go missing after getting a locker code to only open the door to an empty locker. After more people complained a "locker audit" was conducted... Thanks for the fight about it first though! Super professional! Managment will treat you like you are dumb and show you a picture of you standing there at the locker like you are the one in the wrong."
"We had a very difficult time moving in. Our unit is on the second floor and the building does not have an elevator. Apparently many buildings on the property do not have elevators. I do not see how that is legal according to the Americans with disabilities act. Hopefully no one on the second floor has a child who needs a stroller or a friend in a wheelchair because they will be unable to visit. The move was terribly difficult to get the furniture up the narrow hallway with handrails. Once we were moved in the electric gates at the front quit working. Then the security alarm assigned for our unit went off and we could not shut it off. No one at the front desk would answer the phone so we had to carry the alarm down to the front office while the alarm was still sounding to try and silence it. They also said they did not know how to turn the alarm off. My first impression of this complex is that it is poorly ran. Hoping for a better experience in the future. The front office staff is very nice."
"Living here has been very disappointing. It has not been the experience that it was painted out to be. People are leaving here in droves due to the excessive fees and unfulfilled services. Safety is a huge issue here, with apartments, cars, garages, mailboxes, and even our trash being targeted by vagrants. Best believe that the office and property owners are aware of these issues and continue to do nothing but try to find another way to squeeze more money out of us without providing anything more than they think they have to. Even though it's a gated community, the front door to the apartment complex is always open when the restaurant is open (11 am - 9 pm). The people in the leasing office are very unorganized and clearly unhappy based on my interactions with them. The actual moving in experience was a nightmare; I am still finding out all the things they were supposed to give/show me that they have not. This place would be worth the money if they'd give you what they promise. Instead, they run out tenants to try and find new ones who don't know any better to accept less and less for even higher rates."
"The original owners created a sense of community and safety. The new corporate owners have turned a community into a hotel. If you want a short-term rental don’t expect any of the amenities to be available. Expect overpriced rent and they will go up every year for no reason. No maintenance, no security, broken gates, and property theft. My catalytic converter was stolen from the parking lot in March and I got no support from community manager. I felt abandoned and unheard. There are no cameras in parking lot . It was fun while it lasted. I almost forgot to mention the quality of units. Sit-down shower leaks and there are gaps between floorboards and wall, allowing insects to enter especially if you are on the first floor. I expect quality craftsmanship for $2k apartments."
